The lodges are well serviced with their location in the heart of Carrbridge, just 10 minutes from Aviemore. You can walk to the pub, local Spar and coffee shop or bakery within 5 minutes, and we also have a service station selling petrol and diesel at the end of the main road.
The Landmark Forrest Adventure Park is 5 minutes walk in the other direction and we are also graced with a beautiful 9 hole golf course in Carrbridge.
Aviemore is 10 minutes away by car where you will find a Tesco, Aldi, M&S Simply Food shop and lots of outdoor stores and gift shops. There are various pubs and restaurants as well as a bank branch and sports centre. There are also several traditional ‘chippies’ plus options for pizza, Indian and Chinese takeaways. You will also find a BP petrol station in Aviemore also with a Costa and Boots Pharmacy.
The nearby villages of Boat of Garten and Nethybridge are also worth a visit for some independent shopping, unique Highland dining experiences, two further golf courses and what we think is one of the best pump track in the whole of Scotland!! Constructed by the Swiss firm Velosolutions, ‘Woodland Wheels’ has been carved into the forrest beside the River Spey and Strathspey Steam Railway. It’s a must for any children and adults alike.
Grantown on Spey, which is 15 minutes north, has a traditional main street with many local shops but it also has a swimming pool for those wet weather days!
