Pinewood Lodge – Self-Catering Lodge in Carrbridge
Pinewood Lodge is a two-bedroom self-catering holiday lodge sleeping up to four guests at Reuben’s Highland Retreat – Speyside in Carrbridge, Cairngorms National Park.
Set within our peaceful woodland grounds overlooking the lochan, Pinewood provides a comfortable base for couples and families exploring Carrbridge, Aviemore and the wider Cairngorms.
Pinewood is a traditional woodland lodge tucked away in a peaceful corner of our grounds, offering comfortable self-catering accommodation and excellent value for couples and families. The open-plan kitchen and living area looks out towards the lochan, while the trees immediately in front of the lodge are a particular favourite with the red squirrels that regularly visit our grounds.
The well-equipped kitchen includes a ceramic hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, along with everything you need to prepare a meal. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower overhead.
Outside, Pinewood has its own dedicated picnic table, along with a selection of garden chairs, so you can sit back and enjoy the peaceful woodland surroundings — and perhaps spot the squirrels and ducks that share them with us.

Pinewood is one of six self-catering lodges nestled in the woodland around our lochan at Reuben’s Highland Retreat. Our expansive grounds offer plenty space to relax or play, and you can wander the many woodland paths in the area via a private gate just behind the lodge. The pub, shop, art gallery, coffee shop, play park and Carrbridge bike park are all just a five-minute walk away. The Landmark Forest Adventure Park is only a few minutes through the trees in the other direction!
